At Beings, our journey began with two simple, heartfelt missions: to give back to the Earth that sustains us and to share a little more joy with the world.
For a long time, I've felt a deep connection to the natural world—the quiet strength of a forest, the resilience of a small plant pushing through concrete, the breathtaking power of the seasons. This sense of kinship, passed down through the philosophies of many Native American cultures, has always guided me. It's a belief that we are not separate from nature, but a part of it, with a responsibility to be a good relative to all beings.
At the same time, I've found my voice in my art. There's a special kind of happiness that comes from creating something, from turning an idea into a visual that can spark a feeling in someone else. I wanted my art to do more than just exist; I wanted it to serve a purpose.
That’s when the idea for Beings Apparel was born. It became the perfect way to weave these two passions together. Every design I create, every shirt we sell, is a small act of gratitude. It's my way of sharing my art to bring a little joy into your life, while also actively helping to restore the beautiful, living world in our own backyard, Onondaga County.
